Nurturing Healthy Minds - Self-care for Educators
Practical skills and strategies to help you prioritise your health and wellbeing.
Description
As demands on teachers grow and student needs become more complex, many educators find it hard to make space for their own wellbeing. Prioritising self-care will help improve your effectiveness and positively impact student outcomes.
In this workshop, neuroscience expert Kathryn Berkett will explore:
- the science behind your brain and body’s response to stress
- how to identify and understand your stressors
- practical strategies to reduce overwhelm and avoid burnout.
Hosted by experienced facilitator Cat Levine, these workshops are designed for teachers and learning support staff across the education system, from early childhood through to secondary schools
Workshops for individuals are held on weekdays from 3.30-5pm.
